Come As You Are.
Leave Redeemed.
The origin of the House, the rooms inside it, and the people who run it.
Redemption House started as a single Thursday gathering in Sangotedo, built around a simple idea, that Lagos's rappers, DJs, dancers and creators needed one room where nobody was just an audience member.
What began as an open mic night grew into a weekly platform once the Rap Arena and DJ Takeover formats took hold. Artists started coming back to build, not just perform. Brands started showing up to connect. And every Thursday, one room in Sangotedo became the place where the scene tested itself.
Today the House runs nine rooms in a single night, on record, every week, same city, same Thursday, same open door.
Where music meets culture.
Where creators meet opportunity.
Where every Thursday becomes a memory.
